Te Hiko is the Centre for Community Innovation held by Wesley Community Action. We are a network of people who work together to support and grow community innovation in the Wellington region.

We believe that community driven innovation can be the spark we need to make a break from the way things have normally been done –either small or large – and create positive impact in surprising and interconnected ways.

We have deep connections in communities who are experiencing the issues we are working to address. Te Hiko’s team, skills and relationships are available to support others who are wanting to make good community change too.

We have special expertise in group facilitation, financial wellbeing, kai sovereignty, supporting kaumātua/seniors to reconnect to community, new ideas about philanthropy, working with club/gang whānau who are making great change, and community housing.
